Helios assisted Higher Ground Education with designing, permitting, and constructing their first Guidepost Montessori School location in the lively Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago.
The project scope for Guidepost Montessori Wicker Park included updating the 112-year-old building with modern finishes and improving the exterior of the building to maintain the character of the local area. Work included conceptual budgeting, code design, permit processing, construction management, and assistance with local and state childcare licensing requirements, which allowed for a fall opening of Guidepost Montessori’s first Chicago location.
Helios has continued to work with Higher Ground Education on four more national locations in Alexandria, VA; Naperville (downtown), IL; Naperville (Southwest), IL; and the West Loop of Chicago.
