As one of the world’s leading producers of commercial textiles, Maharam needed their showroom in Chicago’s Merchandise Mart to reflect their products’ beauty and artistic flair.
Helios developed a system of demountable hangers that allowed Maharam to display its fabric in a way that felt like a permanent art gallery installment but allowed flexibility for change when office space would be required. The fabrics were hung against a pristine white backdrop, allowing them to really stand out. Six white benches were also designed and placed around the showroom, giving it a stronger gallery-like feel.
Helios has been contracted each year for Neocon renovations since 2014.
