Guidepost Montessori is a growing global network of Montessori schools across the United States, Asia, and Europe, including several in Chicago. The mission of Guidepost Montessori is to support each child as they grow in their independence.
Guidepost Montessori West Loop, Higher Ground Education’s third Chicago facility, was a design/build effort housed in a historic masonry loft building in the dynamic West Loop neighborhood. Formerly a retail and restaurant site, work involved hands-on coordination with multiple building stakeholders and tenant spaces from space planning through full permitting, construction, and licensing. This facility offers another great addition to a rapidly growing mixed-use neighborhood.
Helios has completed six Guidepost Montessori schools to date. We have teamed with Higher Ground Education on four other national locations in Alexandria, VA; Naperville (downtown), IL; Naperville (Southwest), IL; and Wicker Park, Chicago.
