Helios Construction Services has performed construction management services on many capital construction projects for the Waukegan Public Library.
Our work has included roof and skylight replacement, installing a new façade, asbestos abatement, new ceiling finishes, upgraded lighting, and extensive MEP replacement. Together with the library staff, Helios has helped secure several energy efficiency grants, including the Illinois State Library Live & Learn Construction Grant and grants from the Illinois Clean Energy Foundation, North Shore Gas Rebate Program, and Commonwealth Edison.
The library remained open throughout construction, requiring detailed phasing plans and close coordination with library staff.
