To commemorate Radio Flyer’s 100th anniversary, Helios Construction Services teamed up with Gensler to design and build a unique gallery to showcase the evolution of America’s favorite Little Red Wagon.
The Heritage Gallery, located in Radio Flyer’s headquarters office, incorporates various milestones in developing children’s products. From the curved sidewalk to the suspended product wall to the individual podiums, each feature uniquely captures how Radio Flyer has provided a Century of Smiles. The construction of the Heritage Gallery included custom millwork, specialized graphic printing, audio-visual communications, and engineering.
We coordinated every aspect of the gallery with Radio Flyer to push the boundaries beyond typical construction. For example, a custom 50′ floating sidewalk was cast-in-place onsite to replicate a sidewalk to showcase the wagon’s history.
