Maharam Showroom - Neocon Renovations

Client

Maharam

Architect

Ferlund & Logan Architects

Date of Completion

2014, 2015, 2016

As one of the world's leading producers of commercial textiles, Maharam needed their showroom in Chicago's Merchandise Mart to reflect the beauty and artistic flair of their products.  Helios developed a system of demountable hangers that allowed Maharam to display its fabric in a way that felt like a permanent art gallery installment, but allowed flexibility for change when office space would be required. The fabrics were hung against a pristine white backdrop, allowing them to really stand out. Six white benches were also designed and placed around the showroom, giving it an even stronger gallery-like feel.
