The Revival is a theater and education company founded at the birthplace of improvisation in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood. The Revival uses improvisation and its underlying skill set to affect personal, professional, and social change both at home in Chicago and worldwide.
Originally a dialysis center, Helios was contracted to renovate the 13,200 square foot building into three white box retail spaces. We were then contracted again to build out this 150-seat cabaret theater in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood. The theater includes new floor and wall finishes, a new stage, risers, and a build-in bar consisting of reclaimed wood.
